[1] . It has been hinted that he was a rogue student of Silverlight University. [2] . He has abandoned his real name. [3]

Hoid is a skaa informant who seeks to sell information to anyone who would pay him for it. He is a deceitful man, and he would often use false ailments as a way to make himself seem more pitiable than other skaa. Hoid was first seen by Kelsier while imitating a Mistborn nobleman.

True Hoid fact: He was able to punch someone in the face even though he's not supposed to be able to harm anything. I've always assumed the name Frost called him was his real name. I don't think we know his real name yet.
