Jul 1, 2011 · OK, I was a bad boy and didn't buy the new Ruger AR-15, but I did buy a 22/45 for the wife and decided to buy the Franklin AR-15 since I could sort of afford it and the shop didn't have the Ruger. The AR is 5.56, so when I break it in should I use 5.56 or is .223 OK? Anything special I should do before and during break-in?
