Oct 29, 2019 · My FBI HRT/SWAT rifle build is based on a GBLS DAS GDR15 CQB version. Why FBI HRT/SWAT rifle? I didn’t know I had a thing for ODG until I saw the pics of FBI HRT/SWAT rifle with a Geissele MK4 Federal ODG rail. That ODG rail combines with black receivers is irresistible to me.

I know the HRT uses the super thick fbi profile barrel but how does that compare to the mk18 socom? I’m currently trying to build the perfect upper for my needs which are almost strictly plinking and a dedicated home defense gun.

Mar 11, 2022 · This upper implements a lot of lessons learned from the Mk18, and demonstrates that the extra 1”-1.2” barrel length gives much better performance with minimal impact on being able to maneuver it.

Aug 13, 2013 · Im exploring the idea changing my Middy around to resemble the weapons carried by FBI HRT. Does anyone know what furniture, sights, optics, lights, sling, barrel length, etc. HRT is known to use? My googlefu wasn't very helpful other than some photos showing SOPMOD stocks and EoTech XPS or 512 optics on what appeared to be 14.5" or shorter uppers.

Nov 26, 2022 · DDC = HRT, OD = regional SWAT, Gray = vehicle teams, Black = field agent. It’s a little too generic to say MK18 EOD, the EOD builds everyone refers to with the CASV handguard were specific to Navy EOD units. As mentioned above, the Army 28th EOD Company used the DD Lite Rail on their rifles.
