Jan 13, 2019 · If you want a mp5a3 sbr you want a hk94 which is a semi auto one with a 16 inch barrel. You can then send it to one of the well known smiths(TSC Machine is known for pretty much only working on the german guns and is who I'd recommend) and have them convert it to a sbr and change the engraving to mp5, mp5n(threaded 3 lug) etc.

I understand it would just be a WAG, but there are some knowledgeable members here, and the question of how many of the original 15.633 HK94's imported remain in original, unaltered condition. As the owner of such a gun, I'm genuinely curious.

Feb 8, 2008 · It is possible that it could be a pre 86 dealer sample of a HK94 converted to full auto. It is also possible it could be a transferable HK94 converted to full auto. If it'a a dealer sample, I'd guess the value to be in the $8-10k range. If it's transferable, I'd guess the value to be in the $15-20k range depending on the conversion method.
