Was it worth it to you? HE351 on 12v - Pirate 4x4
Oct 27, 2014 · on friends a 97 215hp 12v it made a good improvement. with a 5 spd and later 6 speed it was a better option for higher altitude towing than the HTB2 62/12 that was on the truck previously just a #10 plate and 3k gov spring kit

May 2, 2012 · The HE351VE on his truck doesn't have a wastegate. Get a scanner and pull codes. There is probably a code for overboost. There should be another code for a non responsive turbo actuator. If so, the vanes are probably stuck on the HE351VE. If its under warranty, take it to a dealer.

Aug 13, 2010 · HE351VE Turbo w/open 6637 paper air filter (Ford version of the BHAF) Full 4" exhaust From the searching I’ve done, 15.5-16 seems to be a good target. Does this sound about right? The truck is my DD and tow rig. It has ~210k on it, I’m not looking to go crazy with the power, I’m much more interested in towing ability and durability.
