Apr 10, 2025 · The diagrams below are top views of where you want the pieces to go. For example, the T Permutation (or 'T perm') swaps the UL and UR edges, as well as the UFR and UBR corners. If you like, try out all of the available algorithms for a case to see which one feels the fastest to you - the same algorithm may not be the fastest for everyone, and ...
H-perm using only 180 degree turns : r/Cubers - Reddit
May 18, 2014 · If it is possible to create an h perm using only 180 degree moves, then it is possible to make a pure edges three cycle. The contrapositive of this statement also holds (That's what contrapositives do). If it isn't possible to make a pure edge three cycle of that nature, than it is impossible for an h perm to only have 180 degree moves.
Alternative OH alg for H-perm PLL CFOP (In the comments)
Mar 15, 2018 · For the OH solvers you probably know the traditional H-perm alg with M-moves or the 2-gen one (R2 U2 R U2 R2 U2 R2 U2 R U2 R2) which is long and consist of a lot of double flicks. I thought if you can get better at doing S and S' then it might make up a better alg for H-perms, for it is shorter.
Skewb H and z perms? : r/Cubers - Reddit
Sep 5, 2014 · Fixed corner. And I changed the Z perm alg. It made a mistake when I typed it the first time. Angle for H perm: Solved sides on top and bottom and then good from any side. Angle for Z perm: solved side on top and bottom, one side of the first pair in the right, and a side of the other pair in the left
no M moves for h&z perm : r/Cubers - Reddit
Dec 15, 2023 · The other day I switched to [R U' R U R U R U' R' U' R2] for my Ua perm and [R2 U R U R' U' R' U' R' U R'] for my Ub perm. I already feel a massive difference in speed with the right side algorithms, i really don’t like M moves and they feel unnatural to me, I was wondering if there are any right/even left side moves equivalent for the H perm ...
I never get H perms on my main 3x3 cubes. Why? : r/Cubers - Reddit
Dec 12, 2022 · Physically, it seems there is no possible way this happened since the cube is always ends up solved anyways. The really freaky thing is, the very next solve after posting this was a H perm. That’s 3 out of less than 10 solves with this cube. I’ve solved the other cubes probably over 10 thousand times and not once have I seen an H perm.
why is h-perm called h-perm? : r/Cubers - Reddit
Mar 5, 2014 · To expand on this, some people call it an x-perm when it's H perm + U2. (to go even further, some people only call it a proper x-perm when it's an actual corner swap alg)
Twisty Puzzle Solvers, AKA: Cubers - Reddit
Improving at Skewb. Sarah's Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced. By far the most common method. Beginner starts by making a layer intuitively and then completing the rest of the solve using a four move alg, the sledgehammer (sledge), which can be used for corner orientation and can also be used in a U perm by doing sledge y2 sledge - the U perm is used to solve the last five centers.
For H-perm, do you do auf before or after the alg? : r/Cubers
For people who love any sort of twisty puzzles, including but not limited to: Rubik's Cubes (and any size/design variants), the Square 1, the Pyraminx and more.
Any tips on how to get faster at H and Z perms? : r/Cubers - Reddit
Aug 17, 2014 · I prefer doing M2 with right ring, right middle (one after another) and doing U'/U2' with my left index. My H perm and Z perm if you want a demonstration. Then, just practice getting used to your new H/Z perm fingertricks.
