A gyro stabilizer is a device designed to reduce the rolling motion of a boat caused by waves. It works by spinning a heavy flywheel at high speeds within a sealed casing. When the boat rolls, the gyro generates stabilizing forces through precession, counteracting the motion and improving onboard comfort.

Mar 24, 2019 · Ian turned up with the second version of the Gyroo II , this is configured so that its parts can be printed on machines with limited Z axis of 200mm. This has meant splitting the fuselage into 3 and the tail into two (all from PLA). It matches the excellent flying qualities of the wooden version, no doubt to the blades weight matching.
