Ōarai Girls' Academy is the new school of the main protagonist Miho Nishizumi, who transferred in primarily because the school did not practice senshado. Its senshado team had been disbanded long ago but was revived by Anzu Kadotani in a bid to avert the school's closure.

Anglerfish Team (あんこうチーム, Ankō Chīmu) is one of the teams in Ooarai Girls Academy 's Sensha-dō Team. Commanded by Miho Nishizumi, they operate the Panzer IV and are the main protagonists' team in Girls und Panzer. Anglerfish Team consists of second year students from Ooarai Girls Academy. The team operates a German Panzer IV.

In Girls und Panzer, the student council members serve as the Turtle Team. Their office is at the bridge of their school ship. The student council, and more specifically the president, has a very important role on many decisions that determined the fate of Ooarai Girls Academy and the Girls und Panzer story-line.

Dec 18, 2019 · The train to Oarai station is 330 yen as it is not part of JR. At the station there's already a mini section with a lot of GuP stuff and a kobini selling a guidebook with GuP locations within the city (which I found out after the trip itself and the shop was closed).

The GuP side of the festival is concentrated around the Oarai Marine Tower, and shares space with the actual Anglerfish Festival. There were also booths and mini-events all over town, including an exhibition with cardboard mock-up tanks, and one with little RC tanks.
