Gorochu (Japanese: ゴロチュー Gorochū) is a dual-type Electric/Fire Pokémon introduced in Generation X. It evolves from a Raichu when exposed to an Ultra Stone. It is the final form of Pichu which evolves into Pikachu with high-friendship. In Alola, Gorochu has a dual-type Electric/Psychic regional form.

May 4, 2018 · Gorochu's design was intended to be more fearsome than Pikachu's, with it possessing a set of horns and sharp fangs, which would have been a continuation of Raichu's bulkier form. The design for Gorochu wasn't used due to balance issues surrounding the Pikachu line, rather than any issue with the aesthetic of the Pokémon.
