Dec 14, 2020 · When you’re trying to stand out in a band and add more gain for solos or leads, kicking the DS1 on makes you invisible. The DS1 is fine for rhythm work, or at home for playing into a decent tube amp.

Aug 27, 2024 · There's no *actual* (so called) DS1 in my Katana. But there is a booster-type called "Distortion". And I believe that is "just" a DS-1. That booster into the new Pushed channel is heavenly 2000s. Insta 2000-American rock tone.
