Jan 4, 2019 · There are genuine people on G2A trying to sell keys for games they got for whatever reason (i.e Gift) and do not want them so they sale the code on G2A. But there is some people who sell codes that have been bought through stolen credit cards or cracked the creaters key generater which results in the code becoming expired.

I have been using G2A as a sheep and due to successful purchases in the past, Didn't plan on having this happening to me. My first scam story starts with the game called Grand theft auto V. I was excited that I could get it for such a steal price from that website so I went to purchase one paysafe card from my local kiosk and do the transaction.

Today i have encountered a fraudulent scam with G2A, for context, G2A is a website which sells keys for games and in-game items, they are also popular for selling keys to Fortnite items, like the Harley skins or batman or whatever. To keep things short, they are definitely scamming. And heres why. G2A has a product for Fortnite, an In-game item.

The scam of selling steam accounts has been going on since its inception and why it is against the tos to sell.

Feb 9, 2019 · So if you know what you're doing then yes, g2a is legit. You don't know how your key was obtained though, it could've been obtained illegaly. G2A also tries to scam you by making you automatically subscribe to their protection program or something and by selling you unnecessary worthless additional protection while buying a game.

Jan 27, 2021 · G2A is a lottery. Maybe the key is gonna work because it was bought under some regional pricing. Maybe it will work but get revoked because it was bought via fraudulent means.

Oct 2, 2018 · Hey its not a scam. G2A sells both accounts and keys. Selling Preactivated accounts is a common practice on grey markets. It was stated multiple types on the product page that you are ordering An account. Hopes that clears it up for u.

May 24, 2024 · Bought an account on G2A. Account info does not work and after contecting the seller they tried scamming me and said that they can't give a refund which they for sure can. They closed the convo and I got in touch with G2A and they are extremely slow to respond.
