The invasion of normandy by the vikings is a major event in the 9th century.

Oct 8, 2020 · 867 Karling Starts West Francia: Easily the best start. Have seen them make Francia in most of my games. Secure an alliance with Asturias just in case. Lotharingia: Harder but if you get an alliance with either of the Francias, you can take out the other one.

Sep 20, 2020 · So i picked the Kindom of West Francia in 867, cutstomized the king, made him a different dynasty and clicked play. I got the Event/Popup in a few days, basicly saying that we now identify as French (paraphrasing here) and i clicked "Ok" and nothing happened.
