Apr 29, 2004 · i think this guy you rang at repco is a bit of a tossa! i have taken stock springs out of 4 xf's, an xc, an xa and a zc with spring compressors i bought from autobarn and have never had an issue. take you time and make sure the compressors are in place correctly and won't slip and you'll be fine.

Nov 14, 2004 · have a 1984 ford xf sedan. which seems to be overheating. have replaced the radiator, what else can it be? it also has the air con radiator in it as well. to me it seems the normal radiator is starvin for air as the air con radiator is blocking it. also am thinking thermostat. what temperature hermostat should i be running in it with air conditioning?

Aug 14, 2002 · My carby September '86 XF sedan didnt have a fuel filter at all.. and as a result I got shite stuck in the carby on several occasions. Problem solved by purchasing an inline fuel filter and simply inserting it into the line around the area where it comes out infront of the firewall, and before it goes into the fuel pump.
