Jun 25, 2010 · Also, if you don't mind - what about spring perch center to flange for both left and right sides - so I can distinguish a Torino 9" from a Mustang 9". I've heard 69-70 Mustangs are 59.25 F to F, but spring perch locations are different. Thank you for your time. Doug

Jun 11, 2024 · I've found on a stock fan 70's era Torino, you need airflow for 134a to be happy. Adding an aux pusher fan in front of the condenser helps. I swapped to dual 14" spal fans, or guys running the Lincoln Mark 8 / 94-98 Thunderbird V8 electric fan will pull more than enough air over the Condenser assembly.

D) The Corvette MC has the exact same "shallow" bore as the Astro van's original MC used so no changes had to be made to the HB unit's pushrod length.

Aug 20, 2008 · You have 11" standard front rotors, single piston caliper. Then, on the case of my GTS, and the Police and 1972 Thunderbirds, you have the 12" rotors, from the factory. These rotors will bolt on a 1972 Torino spindle, utilize the full size ford/merc/lincoln caliper bracket, and the same caliper for the 11" rotor.

His timing gear set is exatly like the timing gear sets that are installed on the 1968 through 1971 ford 429 and ford 460 engines from the factory.
