Dec 19, 2021 · I have the Flair Neo and its an excellent beginner machine. It can pull cafe quality shots. It’s shots are comparable to the Cafelat Robot that I also have but workflow is more challenging because the piston is stuck in the down position, it’s difficult to knock the puck out and it also needs to be preheated.

Apr 5, 2024 · I agree with dcc. In an online chat, Flair recently advised me not to brew more that 12g of dark roast in the Standard basket and not more that 15g of light roast. I would recommend a 2.0 ratio. Grind slightly coarser than you would with the F58 because with the 40mm basket, your puck is taller. Oh, and pre-heat the hell out of the brew head ...
Fully kitted out Flair Neo vs other Offerings : r/FlairEspresso - Reddit
Jan 10, 2023 · I am planning to purchase a nice grinder (1zpresso Jmax or Kmax), and a Flair machine! I see that purchasing a flair neo with a pressure gauge + bottomless portafilter basically gets you to a signature for less money. Here is the cost breakdown: $160 Neo + $31 bottomless portafilter + $72 pressure gauge kit = $263 CAD
A Flair noob’s progress - just upgraded my Neo to the 2-in-1
Jan 28, 2021 · So the neo + pressure gauge + bottomless filter is $199, which is cheaper than the classic + pressure gauge. Why on earth would anyone buy the classic or signature if the neo comes out cheaper still! Let's exclude the advantage of being able to upgrade to the Pro Brewhead and the colour/copper material
Flair NEO vs Rok EspessoGC : r/JamesHoffmann - Reddit
Apr 4, 2021 · The Flair ecosystem is more flexible and getting a good espresso is easier with a Flair than with a ROK - I would aim for a non-pressurized filter and grinder instead of the Neo though. That being said: I think the ROK has a lot more aesthetic appeal and makes a great decorative piece, that's why I added it to my collection
Flair Signature vs Flair Classic vs Flair Neo : r/FlairEspresso - Reddit
May 10, 2021 · Hello again everyone, I recently made a post on the Flair Neo vs the Classic and how I decided on the Neo. However, after much feedback from the wonderful community, a lot of people recommended the Classic and how it better worth the investment and if I really wanted the pressurized portafilter, I could just buy the accessory.
Flair Neo Flex or Flair 58? : r/espresso - Reddit
Jan 2, 2024 · Flair 58 Pros: No need to upgrade any further, just a one time commitment and that's it Able to check the pressure Able to preheat brewing chamber Smoother workflow due to the ability to preheat it More compatibility since it is 58mm (Not too sure about this) Cons: Much much more expensive compared to the Flair Neo Flex

Flair Neo Flex Relaunch (Now includes pressure gauge, no pre-heat)
The Flair Neo Flex has been revamped and now includes a pressure gauge! They also changed the brew chamber to have less mass which they say removes the need to pre-heat. Sounds too good to be true, but at $99 I ordered one to play with. Maybe it'll save me from impulse buying a more expensive lever machine.
Neo Flex: First Impression : r/FlairEspresso - Reddit
Dec 23, 2023 · I'm a Flair user -- and I do like the control of a manual lever machine. I have no experience with Wacoco's products, so have no opinion on the Picopresso, other than to say if you happen to prefer pump to lever, consider adding its optional pressure gauge kit. I'd recommend the 58 to anyone who is interested in manual lever machines.
