FITE provides high quality preparatory training for high school juniors and seniors in the fields of firefighting and emergency medicine in WA State.

Throughout the year, our students will have the ability to train just as career firefighters and EMTs do. We work to utilize relevant textbooks, equipment, and skills activities. This is a unique opportunity for students to experience a sample of what it is like to go through a Fire Academy or EMT class while being in a high school environment.

FITE was started in 2011 at the WANIC Skills Center in Kirkland, WA. We are a 501 (c)3 non-profit that contracts with school districts to provide high quality preparatory training for high school juniors and seniors in the fields of firefighting and emergency medicine.
