[Spoilers] Clarified: Faravid or Halfdan : r/assassinscreed - Reddit
Halfdan and Faravid argue for a moment before Faravid is banished and Eivor escorts him out the gates of Jorvik. Halfdan refuses to speak further at the moment. At the gates, Eivor asks Faravid whether he knew about the lead or not, to which he gives a non-answer (something along the lines of, "I hope we can raise our spears together again ...
(!Story Spoilers!) Faravid - guilty or not? How did you decide?
Faravid tried to steer suspicions away from him and onto Moira. Faravid knows lead is poisonous. Faravid was always drinking from non-lead cups or from the bottle - not from lead goblets. AC did the ambiguity to screw with us. But Faravid has a chance to deny it and he doesn't.
(SPOILERS) Faravid in assassin's creed Valhalla : r/assassinscreed
Sep 25, 2021 · Faravid was clearly guilty. The game leaves it open for interpretation but at the same time gives subtle clues that he is a dirty mofo. The way he kills that pict leader early on, then he is against halfdan all game long, purposely plotting fights behind his back and trying to get all the glory (glory was a huge thing in the Viking culture).

Nov 21, 2020 · And I think Faravid is Jormungandr. Halfdan hits Faravid on the head with his hammer if you side with him at the end, like Thor does to Jormungandr at Ragnarok when he and his father go fishing. Jormungandr ends up killing Thor after he dies to him because of a poisonous bite, which is a parallel to the lead poisoning from Faravid to Halfdan.
An interesting detail about Faravid. Spoiler ahead.
Nov 21, 2020 · Faravid is likely Heimdallr. I wrote earlier in another subreddit that it may have been Sif. But upon inspecting of the Asgard/Isu end sequence video, it is clear. The Isu standing beside Tyr as they witness Ragnarok is dark-haired, but blonde him up and he is the striking resemblance to Faravid. Similarly, Faravid's love of alcohol is also ...

Jan 28, 2024 · Does Faravid simply want the glory and power and want to be out of Halfdan's shadow, casting aside all honor and breaking his oaths? Hard to say. It's indicated that he at least knew the lead goblet would have poisoned Halfdan, because when Eivor asks him about it after his life is spared, he avoids the question entirely.

Apr 6, 2022 · Faravid has the mark in the neck and it's clear that Halfdan is Thor's sage. Sif was Thor's wife in Norse mythology and in the video that you unlock after complete the anomalies there was a 2nd woman (1rst is Freyja) in the group of the 8 Aesir (Norse ISU).

Feb 11, 2022 · The option to "fight Faravid" should be a choice, and there should have been a better option to spare/kill him after the fight. Would make complete sense for Halfdan to ask Eivor's judgement on whether to spare or kill Faravid after she/he, by proxy, becomes Halfdan's champion and defeats Faravid, protecting the king.

Aug 23, 2021 · AC tends to make it quite obvious that someone is not all that they seem, eg Kleon and Basim. Faravid seemed honest and decent, albeit ambitious. Halfdan seemed paranoid. If I had to guess, I’d say Halfdan dementia, a symptom of which can be paranoid delusions. If Halfdan did have paranoid delusions, Faravid is the obvious person he’d mistrust
