Jun 25, 2021 · The absolutely easiest was to spit out great damage for a newbie drk player, especially if you're a scythe fan, is to make a kaja scythe, get a ratri set (and as much WSD gear as you can pile on) and spam Spiral Hell. That's it. 100% boost from the ambu scythe > Cross Reaper. That setup is comparable with Savage Blade warriors.

Aug 18, 2021 · Drain and dread spikes as well as absorb spells (sometimes) will be your main spells along with endark. Scythe and gs both work and you will want at least one of each, but gs / calad is the easiest to build around currently. Honestly, for a new drk without a rema at lvl 99 I would start with the ambuscade great axe.

Dec 1, 2017 · DRK needs quite a bit of work to be "top end". A mid or low tier drk isn't necessary more "useful" than a mid tier BLU or war or cor. BLU is somewhat useful even at mid tier gears because of spells. It's one of the most popular job choice for many people. That being said, if you like other jobs more than BLU it doesn't hurt to play them at all.

DRK and SAM will absolutely need an Empy to compete with a rag WAR, WAR just needs a Rag to be viable and will boost all the DD's around him with some really amazing TP bonuses from Warcry. Jan 4, 2023 · War, Sam, Drk, Drg, and Mnk are usually considered the top line of melee from most people I've talked to. Cor and Bard should also be on the list because they can fit into literally any endgame activity and pump out pretty good numbers themselves while also being waaaay more needed than a random DD. The other melee jobs are all fine too.
