Jun 7, 2021 · You should find an ethereal zero socket elite paladin shield with high resists (40++) roll for sockets in cube to get higher ebugged defense, and hope you get 4 sockets for exile. Unless you are swimming in HRs, i wouldnt waste the runes on a lesser base.
What makes a good Exile shell? Just found this. : r/diablo2 - Reddit
Exile is generally considered BM in pvp due to life tap so your market is mostly made up of people who want to kill the ubers, where resistances are vastly more useful than ed/ar, so that's the first thing you should be looking for. It's also generally more useful in pvp but there are some edge cases where people want 65/121.
Which shield do you recommend for Exile? (Smiter build) The
Oct 16, 2021 · Exile has 15% chance to proc life tap, Dracs only 5%, and if I had Exile, I could use much better gloves with IAS etc as attack speed is important. I don't see how dracs can do so much more for a smiter than exile, when exile has higher proc rate, and when the gloves could instead have more useful stats, as all dracs do is the life tap, so ...

Mar 14, 2021 · the reason i say no to the non eth is because exile repairs durability so non eth is a throw away (maybe make a spirit in that one using the lazurk socket quest, spirit in that vortex would be pretty GG) - the reason i say no to the already 4 socket sheilds is because they already have sockets and cannot be cubed

Aug 24, 2021 · D2, only because I already have established characters I played over the last few years and I don't need to replay the whole game again. PoE was fun for the first few leagues, after that the 12 (and later 10) mandatory acts just to get to maps was too long and slow.

Aug 4, 2022 · Exile + whatever gloves It obviously comes down to personal preference, but I much prefer the exile option. I made mine in an eth kurast shield with 38 AR. The reason I prefer it is because of the frequent life-tap procs.
