I’m hoping to create a place where information pertaining to just the 5050 and getting LLDV to work can be found. I personally have had very mixed results and have...

Epson 3800 - Grey vs White screen recommendation - AVS Forum
Sep 23, 2020 · Considering Epson 3800 which has high lumens (3000) , would you suggest going grey as it has enough brightness or would I loose the color pop for which I chose the Epson in first place. The only scenario I wouldn't even consider this option is if you're looking to do a good chunk of 4K HDR gaming, at which point there's no good workaround for the HDMI input's bandwidth ...

Jun 29, 2020 · The Epson 3800 has pretty good brightness, but it seems like only okay with blacks. The projector will only be about 12 feet from a 120” screen, and I can’t go further back, so I’m leery of ALR.

Feb 19, 2024 · The Epson 3800 and all projectors short of the highest end models typically have a HDMI 2.0 port, not a HDMI 2.1 port. None have the ability to display more than 4K resolution at 60hz. Only the 4010 is gimped down with a HDMI 1.4a port on it.
