    Entecavir - Precautions

    • Hepatitis will worsen if this drug is stopped.
    • Seek medical care if breathing trouble occurs
    • If available, read the patient package insert
    • May make you dizzy. Use caution when driving.
    • Does not cure infection or prevent its spread.
    • Take on an empty stomach
    • Lab tests may be ordered to monitor therapy
    • For solution, oral products : Measure dose using a dosing spoon/cup/syringe.
    • For tablet products : Your condition will be monitored by your Dr.

    Warnings

    • Take this medication on an empty stomach at least 2 hours before or at least 2 hours after a meal.
    • May cause dizziness
    • This drug may impair the ability to operate a vehicle, vessel (e.g., boat), or machinery. Use care until you become familiar with its effects.
    • Warning: To prevent loss of effect, keep drug in original container. Close tightly right away after each use.
