Aug 20, 2015 · The bottom two bullet points are still on my "too-read-about" list, but, being unfamiliar with Indonesian history and having never even heard of Suharto, I decided to do some research on him and his regime. Apparently in 1975, Suharto invaded East Timor and occupied the country until 1999, killing 100,000 people all in all.
