Sep 9, 2006 · T18's are pretty decent subs. We have 6 of them that we use mostly for DJ stuff, but we also rent them out for PA use. They sound pretty good, go fairly low, and throw pretty well. They won't sound as good as some of the newer sub designs from EV, but there's a reason they still make them.

When I first bought 4x t18's used a long time ago, 2 came loaded w/orig drivers, 2 had Peavey BW Low Riders installed. I replaced the BW's with OEM ev's and after an EV "jumped the Gap" (blew out) I temporarily put a BW in place.

May 20, 2021 · I just picked up two EV T18 subwoofers for free, untested. I hooked them up to an amp via a single NL4 cable and I hear nothing. They have 2 NL4 jacks and 2 1/4" jacks.
