The Schaller bobbins were sometimes used by Gibson in the late 80s and early 90s, particularly in models where they sourced parts from Germany. The patent number stamp on the baseplate was still common at the time but doesn’t indicate a true PAF.

Besides the mythical "mahogany back and sides", this one has been a case queen for most of its life. Came with 20 years old Thomastik Infeld JS111 Jazz Swings, which sounded great, actually.
