The Airbus Helicopters H135, formerly Eurocopter EC135, is a twin-engine civil light utility helicopter produced by Airbus Helicopters. It is capable of flight under instrument flight rules (IFR) and is outfitted with a digital automatic flight control system (AFCS).

Powered by Safran Arrius 2B2Plus engines. Starting c/n 2000 they are equipped with Helionix avionics suite and known as EC135T3H .

Powered by two Turbomeca Arrius 2B2 Plus engines with 660 shp, the Airbus EC135 T3 has a rate of climb of 1450 ft/min and can travel more than 334 nm. Its main rotor has been replaced to be wider, and new FADEC software was installed.

The Airbus Helicopters EC135 / H135 is a lightweight five/seven seat twin-turbine-engine multi-role helicopter with a radius of 720 km. The EC135 is offered with either Safran Helicopter Engines (former: Turbomeca) Arrius 2B2 or Pratt & Whitney PW206B2 engines.

If glass cockpit instrumentation is chosen as optional equipment, these standard instruments are deleted (function included in MEGHAS) and an altimeter (2”) and an airspeed indicator (2”) as back-up instruments are added. Jun 20, 2011 · The Airbus Helicopters EC135 has been developed from the MBB Bo 105. The latest variant is the EC135 T3, the helicopter is also available as an EC135 Hermes and as an EC135 T2e. EASA certified the latest version, the EC135 T3/P3 on the 20th October 2014.
