Maison Leroy and Domaine Leroy are respectively a négociant and a wine estate based in the Côte de Nuits region of Burgundy. The two portfolios include some of the world's greatest Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines. Those wines made from estate grown fruit are sold under the Domaine Leroy label.

Domaine Leroy was established in 1988 with the purchase of domaines Charles Noëllat in Vosne-Romanée and Philippe Remy in Gevrey-Chambertin. The 22 hectares of vines are primarily 1er and Grand Crus, all meticulously maintained and biodynamically farmed.

Domaine Leroy is famous for its red Bourgogne wines, which amaze with their finesse and purity. The Domaine also produces small quantities of Chardonnay and Aligote wines. The winery owner, Madame Bize Leroy, has established very strict biodynamic winemaking and viticulture rules.

Domaine Leroy's holdings, encompassing nearly 23 hectares, are remarkable for their diversity and quality. The estate boasts nine Grands Crus, eight Premier Crus, and various single vineyard village wines from renowned regions like Vosne-Romanée, Pommard, and Chambolle-Musigny.

Domain Leroy is arguably producing the greatest red Burgundy wines on the Cote d`Or at present. Lalou Bize-Leroy started out as a négociant, working for her family's Maison Leroy, which was founded by her father, Henri.

Starting in 1966, Madame Leroy organized at her home, the Domaine d’Auvenay, prestigious wine tastings with the most well-known wine writers, critics, sommeliers and restaurant owners. At this time, in the late 1960s, this tradition was unusual and completely unique.

Henri Leroy devoted himself entirely to Domaine Romanée-Conti for the following forty years. He gave the best of himself to this Domaine; his intelligence, professionalism, his heart, and made it what it is today. He developed it into what is referred to today as the “fleuron de la Bourgogne” or the jewel of Burgundy.
