Dolmar 7900 review - Arborist, Chainsaw & Tree Work Forum
Jul 28, 2007 · The weight—according to Dolmar is 13.9 pounds, and that’s probably about right. It outweighs my 2171 by about half a pound, and the difference is noticeable but not nasty. The 2171 is nicer to run because it’s lighter and smoother, but doesn’t come close to the 7900’s power. This saw with it’s extraordinary power to weight ratio really hits the spot. If I were considering a ...
Chain Saw History? | Arborist, Chainsaw & Tree Work Forum
Mar 26, 2002 · From the modest origins with the first, rather heavyweighty two-man petrol engine saw up to the new innovative Dolmar professional power saws with an unequalled weight per horsepower of only 1.37 kg/KW it was a far way. The long history of Dolmar is coined/shaped by a feature, which has to today validity: The high innovation strength.
Dolmar ps-401? Any good? - Arborist, Chainsaw & Tree Work Forum
Nov 30, 2005 · Looking at the Dolmar ps-401 for light limbing and small brush cutting. The specs look pretty good, however the saw "looks" completely different than their mid size saws. Has anyone here used this saw? Does it have a good reputation like Dolmar's bigger ones? Are the listed specs accurate...

Dolmar PS-510 vs PS-5100s - Arborist, Chainsaw & Tree Work Forum
Feb 7, 2008 · Dolmar has used the 64 driver count for years and years since 79' when I started and probably even before at that time windsor used the CJL mount which was 64 driver. Oregon then had if available in the AO95 mount then the 262Husky came along and I guess they whined enough to Oregon to get the AO95 mount adapted to a KO95 mount and then requested 68 driver. So to use a 64 driver mount from ...
Dolmar PS 9010 Info Needed | Arborist, Chainsaw & Tree Work …
Oct 4, 2009 · The Dolmar 9010 is a great saw I would not recommend it as a 20" or 24" But if you plan on 28" - 42" bars it is GREAT. Yesterday at Spikes GTG I had a 9010 there with a 32" power match and IMO it was the best in that 30" hard maple crotch we were cutting. Against Big Huskys and Jonnies it had more torque which is what is needed in BIG Logs.
Dolmar 111 - Arborist, Chainsaw & Tree Work Forum
May 3, 2012 · I picked up a Dolmar 111 tonight on ebay. I did quite a bit of reading here and found a lot of praise. I value the opininions of the experts here, and have found the many opinions, for the most part, very accurate. I'm looking forward to giving the 111 a run in the woods. So... what are the...

New Dolmar 5100S Review from the dude... - Arborist, Chainsaw
Oct 26, 2006 · Soooo, I know I know I been saying I'm getting a 5100 for like 6 months now. I even bought a 510 to hold me over till I pulled the trigger. Like the other 2 babys, my 7900 and the 510, I owe them both to Scott and Steve up the road from me at the Cutting Edge in NY (site sponsors). Still...
