Di di twins can be identical or non-identical, but are actually more likely to be non-identical, because of the way this type of twin occurs in your womb. Sep 29, 2022 · Placentas of di/di twins can sometimes fuse together and look like 1 placenta. If you’ve seen a membrane in earlier scans and the anatomy scan couldn’t find it, that makes me question their skill at identifying placenta properly as well.
