Jun 4, 2020 · I wish they still put out the DTS demo music disc's as they were all music!! They were mainly Blu-Ray concert clips but also had some studio tracks in DTS-HD MA 5.1, DTS-HD 7.1 depending on which disc. Some of the studio tracks were never released in DTS-HD MA surround anywhere else and are only available on these demo disc's.

Feb 3, 2012 · The name for the project is "Reference Blu-Ray Demo Disc". Each individual BD9 has the same heading except the subheading that corresponds to its category description. My intention was to choose clips that are representative of reference material in its own category. The determination was made by recommendation from threads on this site and others.

Nov 29, 2014 · Interesting Demo disc. They basically mix in a way to make any speakers sound good as a marketing strategy for stores to sell their speakers and a/v equipment. My Aiwa speaker as a center channel sounded extremely well compare to a typical movie.

Feb 14, 2016 · I've seen various discs on ebay, but the DTS:X 2016 disc seems to be really expensive. I took a gamble and won a Dolby Atmos demo disc (Ebay item 141945365547 - I can't post links yet according to the forum rules), and I also bought Ebay item 222064723530 which is an old 2013 pre-X DTS demo disc.

Apr 28, 2005 · I, too, was interested in buying a THX demo disc until I found out how much they were going for on ebay. What I did was go through my DVD collection and found most of the trailers included on the THX demo disc plus some DTS trailers. I then used DVD Shrink to back up just the trailers on one disk.
