Debian Jr. was first released in Debian 3.0 "Woody". Therefore, to run it, you must at least have a Debian Woody system. Debian Jr. will add approximately 320M to a base Woody install.

The Debian Jr. team looks after the interests of child users of Debian and produces Debian Jr. Pure Blend. Use the packages included in 'junior-*' metapackages and file bugs as needed. Get involved with upstream projects: Tux Paint, your favourite kids' game, etc. Make artwork, sounds, translations for them.
