You definitely don't want to be in a place mid game though we're your swinging with Oblivion Wing to recover energy, so I only run 1 for that option even though it's not ideal.

If you don’t have the item, you can’t trigger the event, and the game locks you out of being able to get Darkrai and Shaymin. It’s also unlikely the event will rerun.

Jun 23, 2022 · If you have Legends: Arceus and Sword or Shield save data then Shaymin and Darkrai will always be catchable in that game. You can trade them over to BDSP through Home. Now that Home connects to BDSP they have no reason or motivation to re-release any events.
