When connected to a non-energized transformer, the DTR ® Model 8510 accurately measures primary to secondary turns ratio, while simultaneously displaying polarity and excitation current.
WARNING: The DTR® Model 8510 is designed for use on de-energized (dead) transformers only. Make sure the test sample is completely disconnected from AC power and is fully discharged.
