Crag Cave is a cave in Ireland, located just outside Castleisland, County Kerry. Formed in elevated limestone rock, the system extends to 3.8 kilometres (2.4 mi) of surveyed passage, on two levels. [1] It is the 7th-longest cave system in the Republic of Ireland, and the 10th-longest in the whole of Ireland. [2]

Visitors explore the cave on a comfortable path, passing the spacious chambers, clusters of stalactites and other spectacular limestone formations. The route curves away past a maze of side passages, down some of which comes the sound of underground streams and rivers traversing the depths.

Although they are believed to be more than a million years old, these limestone caves were not discovered until 1983. The guides accompany you 3,753m (12,310 ft.) into the well-lit cave passage on a 35-minute tour revealing massive stalactites and fascinating caverns. It’s very touristy, but interesting nonetheless.
