Canvas focuses on the generous sweetness of whiskies aged in American oak barrels. However, to complete our composition, we turned to an experimental parcel of single malt re-racked into Spanish orange wine casks for three years. The pinnacle of our collection, Crimson Casks delivers on the rich promise of sherry and red wine casks with intense chocolate, plum jam and redcurrant character.

Every now and then, a much beloved whisky must go into retirement. These whiskies served us well, sharing their stories and bringing colour to the Compass Box journey.

Powerfully flavoursome and impressively textural, the first release in the Extinct Blends Quartet relies on mature malts from the Caol Ila and Glendullan distilleries; aged grains from the Cameronbridge and Girvan distilleries, as well as a medley of pre-blended stocks.

Our latest and last in the Extinct Blends Quartet, Celestial is inspired by a whisky from the 1960s with both an extravagant flavour profile and an equine theme.
