Jun 8, 2023 · RAW, the signum can be used for attacks made "in the shooting phase". It says nothing about which player's turn that should be. So return fire should be able to benefit from a cognis signum even though it is the enemies shooting phase.

Jan 22, 2023 · While building my army I saw that the Artillery Command Section of the Tercio can take a Cognis-Signum. I was wondering - why? Unless I'm missing something it can only effect the Command Section, so 5 Lasrifles, my question being, whats the point?

Mar 17, 2023 · The Cognis-Signum is. This item allows the model equipped with it to forgo their own Shooting Actions and grant all other models in the unit +1 to their Ballistic Skill. Oh, and it grants them the “Night Vision” special rule.
