Korfball (Dutch: korfbal [ˈkɔr(ə)vbɑl]) is a ball sport, with similarities to Netball and Basketball and Ringball. The objective is to throw a ball into a netless basket that is mounted on a 3.5 m (11.5-foot) pole. Each team is composed of four female players and four male players.

A higher ball COF is a grippier string. The string-to-string coefficient of friction is the ratio of the friction force divided by the normal force pushing the strings together. The friction force opposes the main string's efforts to slide sideways back and forth across the cross strings during impact.

A weighted COF sled with a three-ball self-adjusting sled system is used to measure the coefficient of friction for cans, coated materials, and non-uniform surfaces. Ideal Applications: coated surfaces, special coatings and non-uniform surfaces including aluminum cans, laminate flooring, and other materials.
