The National Innovation Center of Intelligent & Connected Vehicles (CICV) was approved and established by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in May 2019, and is the first national manufacturing innovation center in the field of intelligent & connected vehicles in China.

It is the first national level innovation center in the manufacturing field of intelligent and connected vehicles in China. CICV operates through the organizational model of "China Intelligent and Connected Vehicles (Beijing)Research Institute Co.,Ltd + Innovation Alliance of China Intelligent and connected vehicles Industry ".
