CDC25C - Wikipedia
The encoded protein is a tyrosine phosphatase and belongs to the Cdc25 phosphatase family. It directs dephosphorylation of cyclin B-bound CDC2 (CDK1) and triggers entry into mitosis. It is also thought to suppress p53-induced growth arrest.
The role of CDC25C in cell cycle regulation and clinical cancer …
Jun 3, 2020 · The dual-specificity phosphatase cell division cycle-25C (CDC25C) plays an important role in the regulation of serine/threonine kinase activity involved in cell cycle. CDC25C can promote mitotic cell G2/M transition by triggering cyclin-dependent kinase-1 (CDK1) dephosphorylation to activate the cyclin B1/CDK1 complex [2].

Mar 28, 2025 · CDC25C (Cell Division Cycle 25C) is a Protein Coding gene. Diseases associated with CDC25C include Myeloproliferative Neoplasm and Hematologic Cancer. Among its related pathways are HDR through Homologous Recombination (HRR) or Single Strand Annealing (SSA) and Gene expression (Transcription).
Cdc25 - Wikipedia
Most other model organisms examined have three Cdc25s, designated Cdc25A, Cdc25B, and Cdc25C. An exception is the nematode Caenorhabditis elegans, which has four distinct Cdc25 genes (Cdc-25.1 to Cdc-25.4).

Feb 9, 2025 · CDC25C is a prognostic biomarker and correlated with mitochondrial homeostasis in pancreatic adenocarcinoma. Integrative genome wide analysis of protein tyrosine phosphatases identifies CDC25C as prognostic and predictive marker for chemoresistance in breast cancer.
CDC25 phosphatases in cancer cells: key players? Good targets?
Cell division cycle 25 (CDC25) phosphatases are key regulators of the eukaryotic cell cycle. They are required to control cyclin-dependent kinase (CDK) dephosphorylation and activation in a...
