Cajun music, an emblematic music of Louisiana played by the Cajuns, is rooted in the ballads of the French-speaking Acadians of Canada.

There will be food, music, chef cooking demonstrations, as well as silent and live auctions! This event will be hosted by special guests DJ Rhett and The Cajun Ninja. Live music will be performed by Louisiana's own Nonc Nu & Da Wild Matous band.

In the interactive music exhibits, hear the distinctive southwest Louisiana sounds of Cajun, zydeco and swamp pop, blues and world-famous New Orleans jazz. See eclectic displays on the state’s musical history, including Clifton Chenier’s Grammy award and accordion.
