Aug 28, 2012 · It doesn't look like you have NAS. So you are probably using iSCSI off of the SP's on the CX3-10 to access the storage. In order for you to deploy a CIFS server you will need to create a VM and use that as your CIFS server. You cannot create a CIFS server on the CX3-10 since it doesn't have NAS capabilities. So back to your original question.

Jun 10, 2011 · I seems you have a Celerra with a CX3-10 backend. In fact I'm not familiar with a Celerra frontend. You could create a lot of shares and attach them to hosts and wipe the shares as you would with any local drive. Do you have hosts attached to the CX3-10 directly ? Create as many LUNs as you can (as big as possible) and mask them to your host(s).
