Note that these duchy titles do not have to be located within the kingdom the character intends to found or usurp. Payment of 400 wealth plus 200 piety (or equivalent).

The kingdom title already exists. You can try and start as a count or duke in the kingdom of east francia, and start a dissolution faction to destroy the title.

Oct 11, 2022 · After my HRE play through I would just start strictly making a kingdom, no empires. You take the required land and creates it. If you mean from the 867 start, East Francia get renamed to Germany when it's no longer held by an Karling.

I want to create an Empire from Hispania, Brittania, Francia, Germania, and Italia as Charles, and want it's capital, and therefore its primary culture, to be German. That means no Paris or Brugees, as living there won't allow me to convert to the German culture (I think). Are there any good provinces in Germany?

Sep 27, 2019 · Germany exists in every start date except the very first. I do not think that is true, i remember them existing only in 936 and 867 Germany is a form-able kingdom in every start I only play 769 and I have seen Germany many times!
