Oct 18, 2011 · I noticed on my 2001 that I bought, the CDI is a very old style. Also the stator-to-wire-harness connections are made by crimp connectors. This would mean the plugs wouldnt have matched up so he cut the wires and spliced them by hand. Basically will any year CDI, STATOR, HARNESS, work with any year bike if the wires are spliced like this?
