Jan 2, 2013 · I like the C5's, especially with the new CF6-80C2 engines which are the same ones found on the Boeing 747, 767 and MD-11 aircraft as well as the Airbus A300 and A310 aircraft. GE currently has more than 160 million flight-hours on the CF6-80C2 engine fleet (C-5M as the military calls it) .

Jan 17, 2008 · C17 - Great aircraft but we're using the heck out of them. They'll reach their service life well before anticipated. I'm guessing they'll be retrofitted somehow to replace the C5, cause from what I hear we ain't making anymore of those. C-141 - another great lifter but the only one's in commission are with the Guard/Reserves.

Don’t mind being stuck on reserve so long as I’m likely to get used with some frequency. I would anticipate being picked up by a major or LLC within 5yrs, so flows /
