Dec 29, 2018 · Air duct flap menjadi pintu masuk atau terhambatnya udara luar masuk ke kabin. Jika ‘pintu’ ini sudah tidak rapat saat tertutup, tak heran jika udara dari luar tetap mengintrusi kabin. Lalu kenapa bisa komponen ini rusak? Penyebabnya adalah seal seperti busa yang berada di sekeliling flap.

Jul 15, 1999 · The flap acts very similar to vacuum secondaries on a quadrajet carby. At low rpm the flap stays closed giving good throttle response down low. At higher rpm's the flap opens, allowing the engine to utilise the ram-air. I think!!!, someone may correct me.

Aug 5, 2006 · Just curious what the flap in the bottom of the air box is for and is there any negative affect to the small air box mod? Inquiring minds want to know... Someone has the answer to this question. The flap is there to trick the bike into thinking it has a larger intake manifold at lower RPMs. This adds some extra torque in the lower RPMs.

Jul 17, 2008 · very easy.. take 4 bolt out and take off rear mudflap. i took the rear tail section off and unplugged the rear plate light. (just made it easyier) and also makes it easier to take the reflector brackets off to use for the rear plate and fener eleminator.
