Nov 2, 2022 · Burn is a warrior at heart. Not a reluctant combatant taking up arms for necessity, but a bloodlusted master of martial arts. She lives and breaths for fighting, and is really truly at home on the battlefield. Why? When I first read WoF, I labeled her off as your typical raging psychopath, but having thought more about it, I want to walk that back.

Aug 14, 2021 · Okay, Blaze would obviously be the right choice because out of the three she's the least bloodthirsty. But I always say Burn because all the tribes can band together after a while of the war still going on and take her down, electing a new leader (Thorn most likely) instead of, say, having to deal with Blister and the Nightwings probably killing off a few tribes.

Jun 21, 2022 · both Burn and Blister were very dangerous characters because of their character traits and would've been most likely to keep the war going. Burn was strong, brutal and sadistic with no remorse or regrets. Like Starflight said it in book one she likely would've just kept the war going because she liked fighting, hurting and killing.

May 14, 2023 · Or making allies with someone like Belladonna. Burning hives in exchange for leafspeak soldiers? Sounds like a decent exchange to me. And then characters we know almost exclusively as good guys would be allies of Burn. Like, imagine a timeline where Burn disappears, is considered out of the count, and shows after Thorn takes over, but with Sundew?

If they're female that would also be the first female DoD to not be part of a royal family since we know Scarlet only had Ruby/Tourmaline and she only had Cliff. Although, if the egg was from the royal hatchery, it would create some interesting dialogue between Scarlet and Burn than otherwise, if she ever found out.

Aug 12, 2023 · In short, their relationship was all business, Scarlet liked the territory she was promised, and the war brought prisoners to the arena. Burn liked the SkyWing army, and Scarlet’s lack of qualms about the fighting, qualities Ruby did not share. Scarlet saw Burn as a dull soldier who disdain festivity, and Burn saw Scarlet as a self absorbed fool.
