Apr 30, 2011 · With help from Ghillebear I finally got my SL8/G36 Bullpup project running. It turned out pretty cool. Its not the best looking gun ever, and the trigger pull is only slightly better than my VP70, but it proves that the SL8/G36 design can be made into a Bullpup.

Dec 11, 2024 · Whether HK drawings or not the bottom bullpup rifle has a similar profile to the Vektor CR-21 or the older IMI Tavor. The bullpup variant looks a bit like an early Rheinmetall rifle concept from around that time. AFAIK that was never developed into a working rifle.

Someone in the German government essentially ran the G36 through a stress "test" as if it were a belt-fed MG, running thousands of rounds through it on full auto with no cool off or barrel change, which an assault rifle is not designed to do.

Dec 24, 2022 · I hate to point this out - the stick has to be longer to accomodate for the firing and chambering mechanism. It won't eject or chamber rounds, because it has no room at the back. Otherwise it's good and might work.
