The University Seal is one of Baylor’s most cherished emblems. As the official indicia/insignia of the University, it is restricted for use by and for the Office of the President and the Board of Regents.

The iconic, interlocking BU, whose roots on campus reach back nearly 100 years, takes its place at the forefront of a Baylor University Brand now united. Powerful, distinct and instantly recognizable, the new University Brand Mark forms the centerpiece of a Brand Identity that conveys our University to the world.

Today, the University’s signature colors of Baylor Green (signifying academic growth, renewal and hope) and University Gold (symbolizing excellence, courage and compassion) remain at the core of the Baylor Brand.

The Baylor University Seal This is the University’s official identifying mark. Only the Baylor University’s Board of Regents and the Office of the President may authorize its use. Documents displaying the University seal convey that they are officially sanctioned by the Board of Regents or Office of the President.

May 20, 2024 · The historic motto is part of the Baylor University seal, which appears on class rings, the medallion the Baylor president wears at commencement services, and at various places throughout the campus. The updated motto will begin appearing on new campus installations beginning this summer.

Any prospective manufacturer who wishes to obtain a license to produce officially licensed Baylor University merchandise must submit a license application through the Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC).

May 20, 2024 · Regents of the Waco, Texas, university with Baptist roots voted last week to add two words to the Latin motto that is inscribed on the official Baylor seal, on class rings and on the medallion worn by the president during commencement exercises.
