Dec 21, 2008 · I recently had issues with my Jeep and there were many suggestions along the way as to what it may be. With all of the help I narrowed it down to a bad TPS or bad MAP. In the end with more help I decided that it was the TPS which it turned out being. One of the replies sent me to a webpage that showed what the various sensors do.

Mar 8, 2011 · jack up the jeep from the axle until the tire is a couple inches off the ground. put a prybar under the tire. Then put a pipe under the prybar sideways. Push down (pry up) onthe prybar. if you feel play upand down then ur ball joints are bad. Always better to have somebody else look from in front if u can't see.

May 8, 2010 · All i can think is that the Pump has nothing left to push fluid up into the core, but being that i already ripped the jeep apart twice, once for the Rad and again for the Head , i Really dont want to do it a third time in 3 months for this Pump unless its actually going bad but how to tell short of it going bad catastrophically.

Jul 1, 2011 · Do the same for the grounding wires from the starter to engine block, and from the battery and engine to the Jeep's frame/body. You must remove, scrape, and clean until shiny, the cable/wire ends, and whatever they bolt to. Jeeps do not tolerate low voltage, bad connections, or poor grounds and the ECM/ECU may behave oddly until you remedy this.

The shims are placed under your spring perches, above your springs with the fat end of the shim facing the front of your jeep. So facing your front driver's side tire, the fat end is to your left.

May 19, 2012 · I went to the local NAPA and got a replacement, result: the Jeep started up life was good. After a few months I started experiencing the dropped RPM issue described in this thread. I checked all the potential problems (loose wires, bad ground, etc.) but concluded it was the crankcase sensor.
