May 24, 2023 · Here are my thoughts: I think the S4 is much nicer than the m340 inside and out by a million miles. Only thing the m340 has over the s4 is the performance and driving experience (although I think the s4 drives really well too almost as much). Now Bmw is generally less reliable than Audi but in this case it’s not.

Jul 3, 2019 · It gets M upgrades but is not a "true" M. It's just their version of the midrange model. Audi has had the S4 and RS4 forever. BMW has had a similar thing going as well but just haven't badged their cars as such (e.g., 335is). The M340i now competes with the S4 while the M3 competes with the RS4. The same logic applies to the AMG C43 and AMG C63.

May 12, 2014 · This makes the BMW just as fast as an S4 but still lacks the sporty demeanor of the S4, even with the exhaust. Once you do this though, the BMW ends up costing as much as an S4. So why did I go with the BMW? Short answer, I preferred the interior of the BMW and, while an S4 is a great looking car, I felt its styling was showing it's age.

Mar 22, 2022 · The S4 and Q50 have a bit of a leg up since both of those dealerships will be able to buy me out of the couple months I have left on my Q60 lease (BMW couldn't). Aug 25, 2022 · The current gen S4 is a great car. Can’t go wrong with either one. Audi makes more changes to the interior every generation compare to BMWs, so lots of people prefer that vs the old school feel of most BMWs.
