May 30, 2024 · All of BMW's lineup (M, R, S1kRR) is based on 1000CC engine platform, so they're staying with 1000 to make it in WSBK. Aprilia is not in WSBK, and Ducati has V4R for WSBK. Given BMW had a major update in 2023. 2025 most likely will be swingarm update, colors, some M parts. No major redesign till 2027 prob till next euro standard.

Apr 7, 2019 · The ABS PRO option was introduced / talked about late 15 in to 16. What BMW did was release the option as an upgrade. Then in Mid 2016, June/July .. the ABS Module changed and ABS PRO was part of most releases in late 2016. Then in 2017 it was standard option equipment, and has continued into 2019 now.

Oct 11, 2022 · The highlights of the new BMW M 1000 R. • M RR shift cam engine, output 154 kW (210 hp) at 13,750 rpm and thus 33 kW (45 hp) more than in the S 1000 R. Maximum torque of 113 Nm at 11,000 rpm (S 1000 R: 114 Nm at 9,250 rpm). • Shorter secondary gear ratio (sprocket with 47 teeth instead of 45). • Shorter gear ratios of 4th, 5th and 6th gear.
